Set on 21-acres of land, Littleton Prep Academy (LPA) is set to be LESD’s newest k-8 school. The Academy is situated within the master-planned housing community, Alamar. Once finished, Alamar will consist of 3,500+ single family homes – with many children expected to attend LPA!
LPA will consist of 4 buildings. Building 100 features a super functional multipurpose building that houses a gymnasium with two retractable basketball hoops + bleacher style seating, a theatrical stage, and a central kitchen. Building 200 is a dedicated classroom building for grades k-5. The kindergarteners even have their own private playground! Building 300 is LPA’s state-of-the-art Administration Building that includes office space for an onsite social worker and psychologist. And even though the media center is it’s own building, it is still connected to the Admin via an outdoor covered walkway. Building 400 is another dedicated classroom building for students grades 6-8.
LPA will also have ample outdoor recreation areas for students and the surrounding community. LESD maximized their 21-acre site to include a dedicated baseball field, softball field, soccer field and two basketball courts. The District intentionally included spaces that support children’s physical, social and emotional development – essential for well-being and learning.
